• Pink Floyd at Pompeii is a 1972 concert film directed by Adrian Maben featuring Pink Floyd performing at the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy. The band performs a blistering live set to an empty stadium, aside from themselves and the crew. The main footage is filmed in and around the amphitheatre over four days in October 1971. The film was re-released in 1974 with additional studio material of the band working on The Dark Side of the Moon, along with interviews at Abbey Road Studios.

  Pink Floyd at Pompeii MCMLXXII is an incredible document of a band on the cusp of superstardom. The film has been restored from the original 35mm cut negative from 1972 in 4K meaning the scan is direct from the film that was rolling in the cameras on that hot day in Pompeii.
