Originally released in 1986, the album was recorded in a woolshed on a Western Australian farming property for $1190. Davids idea for the album was to follow in the mould of Bob Dylans The Basement Tapes or The Bands Music From Big Pink, with the band transplanting themselves to a unique location to get a special sound. But dont be fooled by the small budget, the strength of the songs is whats on display here. This album showcases The Triffids’ unique blend of folk, rock, and post-punk.
