• Adrianne Lenker has been writing songs since she was ten years old. Her life story is known through countless interviews and band performances of her main band Big Thief. Nevertheless, or perhaps because of the constant touring and studio work, the last few years have been the most formative for Lenker as a songwriter. Songs pop up during soundchecks. They pop into her head during long drives from city to city. They emerge in locker rooms, hotel stairwells, gardens and kitchens around the globe
