• “Diamond Dogs” is the eighth studio album by David Bowie. It was originally released in 1974 and, according to Bowie, is a protest album that deals with the future of mankind.
  As for the music on “Diamond Dogs,” the album is classified as glam rock. Bowie played the guitar parts himself, using various sound effects.
  The record produced, among others, the singles “Rebel Rebel” and the title track “Diamond Dogs” and made it to number one in the UK charts and number five in the USA.
