• Nina Simone’s story can be re-told from the late 1960s to the 1990s through her legendary performances at Montreux. From her very first appearance during the second edition of the festival on June 16, 1968, she developed a long-standing relationship with the Montreux Jazz Festival and founder / director Claude Nobs. A special relationship whose uniqueness, trust and crackling tension can be clearly heard in the recordings.
