• “Arriving in the studio to record Budos II, I really thought we were going to make the first psychedelic Doom Rock record ever recorded on Daptone, but somehow it ended up sounding like a Budos recording,” says long-time frontman and baritone saxophonist Jared Tankel. Like its predecessors, “Budos III” was recorded live, analogue and in a period of 48 intense hours at the newly infamous Daptone House of Soul studios and produced by the world-renowned production team Bosco Mann and TNT.
