The Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, led by Petr Popelka, who will be the orchestra’s principal conductor and music director starting in the 2022/23 season, will present a three-CD set of Smetana’s orchestral works. The duo also performed “My Homeland” during a much-talked-about tour of Japan in July 2024.In addition to serving as principal conductor of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Popelka has made guest appearances with prominent European and American orchestras and opera houses around the world.
