This is a project by Kanazawa-based artist Hideaki Shimada, who has been active since the dawn of the noise scene in the early 1980s, focusing primarily on violin improvisation and the creation of tape works based on that material. This release compiles early works and unreleased takes originally recorded on self-produced cassetteswhich were available to only a very limited number of people at the timealong with the first-ever reissue of his masterpiece, the debut LP that marked the culmination of his early work.
