Singer-songwriter Mikiko Noda, known as the Velvet Voice for her beautiful singing voice, has had her seventh original album, *Rose Cest la Vie* (released in 1991), released on vinyl for the first time. *Rose Cest la Vie* is an album that has seen a remarkable resurgence in popularity amid the recent City Pop boom, featuring Hiroshi Sato and Yoko Kanno as arrangers. The album includes With You! (Re-mix Version), a song provided by Ami Ozaki that is widely acclaimed as a classic from a major camera manufacturers commercial; Final Call, featuring superb guitar work by Masaki Matsubara and Yuji Toriyama; and Sunglasses of a Pale Season, considered one of the albums standout tracks.
