A popular series of album covers featuring rare photographs of jazzmen from the golden age of jazz taken by white photographer William Claxton. The album cover photo shows the three Montgomery brothers smiling against the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in 1961. The original release was “Groove Yard” recorded in New York in 1961. A bonus album, “The Montgomery Brothers” recorded in 1960, is included.
