Bob Dylan’s 1969 release “Nashville Skyline” (analog), a work that heavily leaned toward country.His ninth studio album, “Nashville Skyline,” released in 1969, attracted a great deal of attention because of the dramatic change in his singing voice, which was unimaginable in his past works, as he leaned heavily toward country music.It was Dylan’s third recording in Nashville, and featured top-notch studio musicians. The album opens with a duet with country great Johnny Cash, “A Girl from the North Country,” followed by a number of melodic songs, including “Lay Lady Lay,” which became a single hit after a long absence. Not only in terms of sound, but also the jacket photo of Dylan smiling with guitar in hand was completely unprecedented. Although the album was controversial, it was a hit in the U.S., peaking at No. 3.The album is now being reissued in analog form in its original stereo version.
