Yang Tiane, a specialist in Sarasate. Her magical bow breathes a passionate soul into every piece.Sarasate is best known for Zigeunerweisen, with its memorable, sobbing violin melody. However, the reality is that his other works are far less well-known than one might imagine. Sarasate was born in Pamplona, Spain, in 1844. His father, the bandmaster of a regiment, taught young Pablo to play the violin, but his exceptionally talented son soon surpassed him and moved to Madrid to further hone his skills. His precocious talent was recognized by Queen Isabella II of Spain, and with her support, he studied at the Paris Conservatory, after which he went on to enjoy a distinguished career as a violinist.
