This new recording by Nigel North, released by the British Guitar Society (BGS), is a collection of da Milanos lute works titled The Lute Music of il Divino.It features the numerous fantasias and ricercars composed by da Milano, as well as lute arrangements of works by Jean Richafort and Jacques Arcadelt. Da Milano also arranged songs by various composers, such as Josquin des Prez, for the lute, raising anticipation for future installments in the series.
