Formed in 2009 around Barnabs Keremny, the Keremny Quartet is one of Hungarys leading ensembles. Having honed their skills under such masters as Andrs Schiff, Zoltn Kocsis, Gnter Pichler, and Mikls Pernyi, they won first prize at the 2011 Beijing International Chamber Music Competition, as well as second prize and the Audience Award at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition.
