This is the third collaborative album by Albanian vocalist Elina Duni and British guitarist Rob Luftcontemporary jazz singers who incorporate diverse genres, languages, and cultural backgrounds while powerfully expressing their unique identities.While their previous albums, *Lost Ships* and *A Time to Remember*, featured the quartet they co-lead, this album brings the core duo to the forefront. The program begins with Irving Berlins title track and concludes with Ornette Colemans Lonely Woman. Along the way, it features original compositions by Duni and Luft, traditional music from Kosovo, a lullaby penned by the Persian singer Mahsa Vahdat, ballads by Italian singer-songwriter Pino Daniele, the art song Les Berceaux by French composer Gabriel Faur, and themes from film scores by Japans Shigeru Umebayashi and Polands Krzysztof Komeda.Our duo, this project, is a musical journey, says Eli
