Description:

Wendy Eisenberg is a singer-songwriter, improvisational musician, and master guitarist. This album marks a milestone in her career, the culmination of years of trial and error and deep self-reflection as she moves effortlessly between folk, jazz, improvisation, and art rock. In this album, the pastoral sensibilities that emerged after her move to Brooklyn and her perspective on 60s and 70s folk and country music have crystallized into poetic and bold songs uniquely her own. Through an intimate collaborative process with trusted colleagues, the sound has become softer yet more assured, and themes of self-understanding, liberation, and relief resonate quietly yet deeply.
