Description:

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, the five-piece band TRAUMARAY has garnered attention as a leading force in the shoegaze revival scene with their 2024 debut album *CHAMELEON*, performing alongside acts such as DEAFHEAVEN and TOUCHEAMORE. They are the standard-bearers of a new generation, seamlessly traversing the boundaries of grunge, metal, and shoegaze to deliver a unique blend of aggressive basslines and delicate melodies. This 12-inch EP features five tracks written amidst their relentless touring schedule. The explosive riffs showcased on their previous work have grown even more robust, while the ambitious compositions delve into darker, more contemplative depths. An unsettling atmosphere that seems to scoop up the dark side of the bands subconscious, combined with tempos slowed to the absolute limit and meticulously constructed guitar layers, creates a soundscape that is heavier than ever before.
