Savard enchants! Savard, the epitome of baroque dance elegance, recorded in July 2017, in a program woven around liturgical dances, as if Terpsichore, one of the nine Muses, had descended upon the stage. Telepsichore means “joy of dance,” and is said to be the goddess of dance and chorus (epic). Telemann and Lebel’s lively and colorful works are reminiscent of dances offered to the gods. This is a disc that allows the listener to enjoy to the full the musical sophistication of the most sophisticated period of Baroque music. King International
