The 2010 Gamzou edition of Mahler’s Symphony No. 10 is finally available on CD! Mahler’s Symphony No. 10, of which there are a number of completed versions including Cook’s version, is performed here in the “Gamzow Version” completed in 2010. The performance recorded here is the “Gamzow Version” completed in 2010. This is the world premiere recording under his own direction. Yoel Gamzow, born in Israel in 1987, is a young conductor who was fascinated by Mahler’s Symphony No. 10 at the age of 12 or 3, and completed his own version at the age of 23. Incidentally, Mahler put down the pen to compose No. 10 in 1910 and died in 1911. Gamzow completed the piece over 100 years later, and made the first recording in the centennial year of his death, which shows his special enthusiasm.
