FBO, the best of the ancient music orchestras, recreates the German journey in Bach’s time.Includes live performances covering valuable works!The Freiburg Baroque Orchestra (FBO) was founded in 1987. As the premier orchestra of ancient music, the orchestra has given concerts all over the world, but it has also given numerous concerts in Germany and traveled all over Germany. The journey, which today takes only a few hours, was a very different and long one in the 18th century when Bach lived.In this new live recording, the FBO recreates the journey from a musical perspective, stopping in Rastatt, Stuttgart and Eisenach. In addition to works by great composers such as Telemann and J.S. Bach, the album also features brilliant works by lesser-known composers.
