His cello sonata dedicated to Casals is considered to be a masterpiece, and it is a beautiful world reminiscent of Franck and Faur. Camille Seghers is a female cellist from Belgium. After studying at the conservatories of Brussels and Cologne, she continued her studies in Paris and Freiburg. Her longtime partner on piano, Alexis Thibault de Messieres, is also from Belgium.
