Description:

Citizen is a four-piece band based in Toledo, Ohio. The current lineup consists of vocalist Mat Kerekes, guitarist Nick Hamm, bassist Eric Hamm, and new members Mason Mercer on guitar and Ben Russin on drums. To date, they have seamlessly traversed a diverse range of styles, including raw emo, aggressive post-hardcore, anthemic alternative rock, and garage-infused indie pop. The album was recorded by Mat Kerekes at his home studio in his hometown of Toledo, and mixed by Tom Lord-Alge (known for his work with U2, Weezer, Blink-182, and others).
