They are performing Schuberts famous string quartet Death and the Maiden and other pieces as piano duets. Death and the Maiden is arranged by Robert Franz (18151892), Nocturne was arranged by Joseph von Gah (17931864); both are exceptionally well-crafted and are more than worthy of being enjoyed as Schuberts four-hand piano pieces. Including the original four-hand piano fantasy, all of the performances are excellent. Duo Rontano was formed in 2004. They possess such a sense of unity that four-hand piano feels more fitting than piano duet.Tobu Land System
