A new collection of works by Will Todd (b. 1970), a popular British choral composer known for his masterpiece, the jazz mass The Blue Mass, and his arrangement of Amazing Grace, which was performed at President Obamas inauguration. With the exception of I Will Light a Candle, the three other pieces are world premiere recordings.The Bach Choir, founded in 1876, is a prestigious choir hailed as the worlds finest independent choir. Its list of former music directors includes such great musicians as Ralph Vaughan Williams, Adrian Boult, Reginald Jacks, and David Wilcox; since 1998, David Hill, one of the UKs leading conductors and choral trainers, has served as music director.Tokyo M Plus
