The good-timey voice that reminds me of Billy Field in “Love, Cigarettes and Swing” makes me think this is a veteran’s new album. But he is only 21 years old! And this is his third album. The album has a New Orleans professor longhair style, a Chicago blues style, and a love and commitment to roots music that can be felt in every part of the album. The album is already gaining recognition on the blues charts in the U.S. The austere guitar and songwriting by his father, Aaron Levin, provides excellent support, and is sincerely recommended for those who want to enjoy raw, swinging, laid-back blues in a relaxed atmosphere.
