King Ghidorah is a legendary group consisting of K Dubshine, Zeebra, and DJ OASIS that has had a profound influence on the Japanese hip-hop scene as well as the wider music scene. Their debut album, “Power from the Sky,” released in 1995, had a huge impact on the scene with its rhyming, flow, trackmaking, philosophy, and attitude that completely overturned the concept of hip-hop in Japanese at the time, and is now passed down in Japanese music history as a masterpiece that transcends genre boundaries. In 2015, the 20th anniversary of the release, a 20th anniversary edition was released with bonus tracks and all the tracks remastered by the late Tom Coyne, which was also a big hit. On December 10, 2025, the 30th anniversary of the release, the aforementioned remastered version will be released on cassette tape! The three necks will come together again from the end of 2025 to 2026, the 30th anniversary of the debut. (C
