The project band consists of Robert Reed, a keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist who has led the British melodic rock scene with numerous projects including MAGENTA/CYAN, and Steve Balsamo (vo), formerly of THE STORIES, who played the role of Jesus in the mid-90s revival of the classic rock musical “JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR” and was also the main vocalist in the late Eric Wolfson’s POE PROJECT. CHIMPAN A is a project band consisting of Robert Reed and Steve Balsamo (vo), formerly of THE STORIES, who was selected as the main vocalist for Eric Wolfson’s POE PROJECT and also sang in that project.
