Sharon Van Etten, a female singer/songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY, USA, releases her fourth album “Are We There”, her first in almost two years! Self-produced by Sharon, the album was produced at Lerman’s New Jersey studio with Grammy-winning producer Stewart Lerman, a veteran of Patti Smith’s latest album, “Banga”. Guest artists on the album include Peter Broderick, a touring member of Efterklang who has visited Japan, Jonathan Mayberg of Shearwater, Adam Granduciel and Dave Harley of The War on Drugs, and Mackenzie Scott aka Tres, Jana Hunter of the Lower Dens, and others.The album features Sharon’s beautiful yet powerful voice and a total of 11 superb songs! She has been well received by artists such as Bon Iver and The National, and Bon Iver was so taken with her that they covered “Love More” from her second album.
