As part of ISISs reissue series, *In The Absence of Truth* has been re-released. This album further develops the direction established on their previous full-length album, *Panopticon*, and delves deeper into lead singer Aaron Turners clean vocals. Musically, the album is highly dynamic, showcasing a wide range of expressions from expansive ambient sounds to almost tribal-like drumming. ISIS also continues its tradition of lengthy compositions on this album; *In The Absence of Truth* runs approximately 65 minutes, making it the bands longest album to date. Although the band disbanded over a decade ago, its influence on the metal scene continues to resonate, and it remains one of Ipecacs key artists.
