Description:

Shin Ye-won’s ECM debut album. Korean-born singer Shin Ye-won, active in the jazz/Brazilian music scene, performs with Alan Parks (piano) and Rob Coote (accordion). A graduate of New York’s prestigious jazz institution, The New School University, she debuted in 2002. She is also known for her collaborations with Brazilian music giant Egberto Gismonti. Centered around original compositions by Shin and Parks, the album freely unfolds a Brazilian sound featuring Koot’s accordion.
