The final installment of the trilogy by WauWauCollectif. The project, which began in Toubab-Dialaw, Senegal, in 2018, was spearheaded by Karl-Jonas Winquist of Sweden and Arouna Kane of Senegal. As they exchanged audio files via WhatsApp and welcomed new collaborators, it evolved into 2021s *Yaral Sa Doom*, and *Mariage* in 2022. This album features no fewer than 26 songwriters and musicians, with a diverse array of instrumentsincluding the balafon, ngoni, calabash, violin, cello, and saxophoneinterweaving throughout. Combining ethereal, meditative beauty with organic soul, they create a one-of-a-kind sound that spans the spectrum from avant-garde to African music.
