After the Kikuchi Group disbanded, he released the masterpiece *Daguri* in 1973, followed by this album, *Out Of Chaos*. From the hard-driving Recollection to the beautiful ballad Little Abi, Mines playingsaid to have been influenced by Coltrane during this perioddisplays sharp flashes of inspiration and a grand scale, as he blows with piercing intensity.
