MISTYGREEN, a band founded in 2018 by Hidenobu Eto, is based on the concept of songs rooted in the early days of 1970s British hard rock and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), with a modern twist. The band made its debut in May 2019 at the Masters of Rock festival held in Nagoya. However, following a series of member departures, the bands activities were temporarily suspended. Just as they were on the verge of giving up on MISTYGREEN, they received an invitation from an old friend, Hitoshi Ichiko, to participate in a studio session. It was there that they met Ryo Kotani (formerly of BlindWitch). Impressed by MISTYGREENs music, Kotani joined the bandwith Ichikos supportand the group relaunched. For about a year, they refined their existing songs and worked on creating new material. Later, vocalist Yukimasa Hirashima joined the band after passing an audition, and the band matured their
