The album features emotional and minimalist compositions that fuse orchestral sounds with ambient texturesa deeply moving and immersive work centered on atmosphere, space, and the intricate nuances of tone. Wiltsy, co-founder of the now-legendary drone duo Stars of the Lid, and Johansson, an award-winning composer, were close friends whose birthdays were just two days apart. In 2013, they collaborated for the first time on a full-scale c
