This program features French Baroque court songs known as airs de cour, along with folk songs from various regions of Francesuch as Brittany and Auvergnethat retain strong traditional characteristics. It brings together songs of diverse origins, much like a fragrant bouquet of assorted flowers. The natural, resonant voice of French Baroque specialist Mikiko Suzuki, combined with the pastoral charm that characterizes the *air de cour*, seamlessly bridges these two genres.
