This is the third solo album on Sony Music by Sydney-born female saxophonist Amy Dixon. Amy began playing the saxophone at age 7 and made her debut at 16. At 17, she performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. From the age of 18, she studied in London and Amsterdam, winning first prize in various competitions. She is currently active as a soloist, primarily in Europe. She is also passionately committed to expanding the saxophone repertoire, having arranged Philip Glasss Violin Concerto for saxophone and premiered and recorded it. Her repertoire spans not only classical masterpieces but also contemporary music, popular works like those featured on this album, and standard pieces for saxophonists, earning her high acclaim around the world.
