The Interplay of Works by Morton Feldman, Satie, and CageThe Rothko Chapel, completed in Houston, Texas, in 1971. This is an interdenominational chapel, open to all as a place for meditation and worship. Its walls are adorned with large murals by the American Abstract Expressionist painter Mark Rothko, creating an atmosphere of calm, silence, and contemplation. This album uses music to depict the very essence of the Rothko Chapel.
