A collection of chamber music works by American composer Daniel Temkin. Active as a percussionist and a multiple award-winning composer, he has served for over 10 years as the director of DTMConcerts, a series of chamber music concerts in the United States that features contemporary music ensembles and composers, and has been dedicated to introducing new works.While all the works included on this album are rooted in classical composition, they also feature sounds influenced by rock and pop, and their unique musicality resonates deeply with listeners. Fumine Kozasa, who plays the viola on Unspoken, is a rising star who switched from violin to viola while studying at the Cleveland Institute of Music. After graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music, she completed her masters degree at the Kronberg Academy in Germany.Naxos Japan
