Description:

This is a major project album by the newly established MFA RECORDS label, created with top-notch musicians in New York City! The artists include Mark Juliana (dr), Mollyce Brown (tp), Jarryl Shaw (sax), Jazzmere Horne (vo), Nia Felder (gt), Sullivan Fortner (p), Jamison Ross (dr), and many more. (dr), and more! This is a concept album full of originality, condensing the NY music scene of swing jazz, modern jazz, funk, blues, hip-hop, R&B, African, Afro-Cuban, and many other styles into a single disc! All songs were recorded completely by improvisation, and each individual’s playing style and ideas are united to create a live sound that is truly alive!
