The Japanese electronic music archive series “In Search of the Origin of Sound 4 – Shigeru Sato’s Work Part 3”, which was released in the spring of 2006 but disappeared from stores for various reasons within a day, has finally been re-released. The recall of this important series, which unraveled the history of Japanese electronic music from the viewpoints of Hiroshi Shiotani and Shigeru Sato, who supported the composers from a technical standpoint at the NHK Electronic Music Studio, was a disappointment to fans. This time, as with the previous two albums, the work of Shigeru Sato is introduced, and fans will be moved to tears by the many precious sound recordings of Japanese electronic music that reached its maturity after the 1970 Osaka World’s Fair.
