Thomas Bowes, one of Britains leading violinists, made a name for himself as a founding member of the Maggini String Quartet and has served as guest concertmaster with ensembles such as the London Mozart Players. This album combines Elgars Violin Concertoa work he has cherished for many yearswith five short pieces: Salut dAmour, Song of the Morning, Song of the Night, Capricious Woman, and Sigh, all arranged for orchestra in a new arrangement.
