Prosthetic is a US post-death/black metal project featuring Tony Thomas (G) of BOTANIST/CAILLEACH CALLING and Chelsea Murphy (Vo) of TEGMENTUM/CAILLEACH CALLING. This is their second full-length in 23 years, which is the result of their transfer to Prosthetic Records.Their debut album, released on Naturmacht Productions in 2008, sold out in only 9 months and was highly acclaimed. Influenced by European black metal by pounding, and absorbing various subgenres such as death, post, and atmospheric, the band has a high-level sound that mixes the high performance of progressive death metal, the violence of death metal, and the beauty of post-black.
