LP release of solo recordings by Mitsume’s vocalist, Motoi Kawabe! The work, which was distributed only on cassette in July 2018, is now available to the public in analog format! The seven tracks of pure acoustic pop, calm and dignified, lonely and sentimental, with the feel of an unearthed private pressing. The songs were recorded in a warehouse and workshop, and were produced in parallel with Mitsume’s activities since around 2010. It is a singer-songwriter work with a house-recording style, centered around a solo Simon & Garfunkel vocal & multiple choruses and acoustic guitar, but with casual, minimal and effective arrangements of rhythm boxes, synths, maracas, etc., depending on the song.
