Essential Logic, a British post-punk band formed by saxophonist Laura Logic after she left X Ray Specks in 1978, will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the release of their debut album “Beat Rhythm”, released on Rough Trade in 1979. In celebration of the 45th anniversary of the release of their debut album “Beat Rhythm News,” released on Rough Trade in 1979, Essential Logic is presenting the album, their debut single “Aerosol Burns” (1978), their EP “Wake Up” (1979), the first physical release since the original pressing, and the single B-side “Flora Force,” which was not included on the album. The deluxe edition of the album includes studio recordings from 1978-1983, including “Flora Force,” the B-side of the single not included on the album.
