Texas-based trio Kuruambin has completed their first new album in four years. Reflecting on how much theyve grown, the three members have returned to their roots as a family and released their fourth album, *ALaSala*, created entirely by the band alone.*ALaSala* centers on the theme of the band returning to the place where they record. Recorded at engineer Steve Christensens warehouse (Terminal C), the album has a living-room-like feel. Even if they couldnt emotionally return to exactly where they started, the band felt it was truly necessary to come home after the pandemic and their collaborative album. The theme of family was also present. Since everythingfrom live shows to promotionshad become so massive, they felt it was the right thing to do to return to being a family of three and embrace an emotional recording process. ALaSala is the title of a track from a previous dub album, but it was a
