The NFM Wrocaw Philharmonic Orchestra and the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. A collection of works by Moszkowski performed by the West Side Sinfonietta, an ensemble comprising musicians from these two orchestras in western Poland. The ensemble does not have a permanent conductor; instead, concertmasters Marcin Danilewski and Pawe Masanka take turns conducting. The ensembles repertoire is wide-ranging; while they specialize particularly in works by the Viennese Classical composers such as Haydn and Mozart, as well as salon music by the Strauss family and Lehr, on this recording they perform works by Moskowskione of Polands leading composerswith great feeling.
