Akio Niitsu is a musical genius who is still internationally acclaimed for his originality and musicality, as evidenced by his album “I/o” (1978), which features guitar played at twice the speed and multiple recordings. This is the second volume of the unreleased collection, and the first best album of all the unreleased material from 1973 to 1984, which has been compiled and officially released. The album “I/o”, which took three and a half years to make, has become known to many people in the music industry as a crystallization of the art of sound recording. He went on to produce his second album “PETSTEP” (1982) and third album “Winter Wonderland” (1985), both with Haruomi Hosono as an advisor.
