Three New Commissioned Works and a Live Recording from the Regular Concert: A Masterpiece Brimming with the Charm of the Hamamatsu Symphony Wind OrchestraThis is the Hamamatsu Symphony Wind Orchestras first original album in five years. Following the previous release, the title track is Gogyo Sokoku, a new work commissioned from Masamichi Amano. The album features three commissioned works, including Daisuke Shimizus Rig Veda, performed at the 2019 National Competition, and Hideaki Miuras from:, which premiered at the 2018 regular concert. In addition to the session recordings from late 2019, this album also features live recordings from the 2018 (45th) and 2019 (46th) regular concerts. Featuring original wind ensemble compositions and pop songs, as well as the orchestras foray into the British-style brass band genre, this album truly encapsulates the full charm of the Hamakyo Wind Orchestra
