• At the end of 2020, Amyl And The Sniffers entered the studio with producer Dan Luscombe, where they recorded the album they had previously spent over a year developing at home. The influences are wide-ranging: from old-school rock’n’roll (AC / DC, Rose Tattoo, Motrhead and Wendy O Williams) to modern hardcore (Warthog and Power Trip) and local heroes (Colored Balls and Cosmic Psychos). For the lyrics, however, frontwoman Taylor drew inspiration from her rap idols and countless garage bands. Of the 17 songs recorded, 13 eventually found their way onto the album, which was mixed by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, IDLES, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and mastered by Bernie Grundman (Michael Jackson, Prince, Dr. Der).
