Argentine-born, Berlin-based composer ANGELESROJASs new album, *OPENTHEWINDOWSANDLETTHESPIRITSINANDOUT*, has been released on CD by WARMWINTERSLTD. This work was commissioned by the RUIDO festival in Buenos Aires and documents ROJASs performance at the festivals closing concert in 2023.Centered around a Kreis organ, an ensemble comprising violin, cello, soprano flute, piccolo, baritone saxophone, trombone, and bass clarinet is positioned throughout the space, unfolding over the course of 30 minutes. As sustained tones linger in the space, subtle changes in timbre, pitch, and beat patterns gradually emerge, shaping a continuous and immersive soundscape.The very presence of the space itself becomes part of the work. Faint soundssuch as the audiences movements or the sound of breathing heard from afarare not separate from the music but gently blend into it.
